Speaking at the donation ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh shared that recently, responding to the call of industry leaders and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Sports Administration has launched many fundraising activities to support people in the Central Highlands and Central regions affected by storms and floods.

In particular, right before the Vietnamese Sports Delegation entered the 33rd SEA Games, the spirit of charity was strongly spread among each member. Athletes, coaches, experts and delegation officials voluntarily contributed 116.5 million VND to send to people in disaster-stricken areas. "This is the sincere sentiment of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation. We hope that the amount of money, although not large, will contribute more resources to help people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives soon," said Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh.
