Provincial Farmers' Association signed an agreement on collective economic development and rural development.

(DN) - On the afternoon of December 3, the Provincial Farmers' Association organized the signing of a coordination program with the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Provincial Cooperative Union on promoting collective economic development and rural development in Dong Nai province for the period 2025-2030.

The goal of the coordination program is to strengthen the close connection between units to help promote the role, strengths, functions and tasks of each agency to jointly support and promote the development of collective economy in rural areas. Attract a large number of farmers to participate in collective economic models, arouse the spirit of cooperation, entrepreneurship and creativity of members and farmers. Mobilize people's strength in environmental protection and new rural construction, contributing to the effective implementation of the Project of Vietnam Farmers' Association participating in collective economic development in agriculture until 2030...

Specifically, every year, propagate, mobilize, and attract at least 10,000 farmer members to participate in collective economic organizations in agriculture. Strive to advise and support the establishment of at least 100 new cooperatives and 250 cooperative groups by 2030; consolidate and improve the quality and operational efficiency of 100 agricultural cooperatives; 50% of cooperatives apply high technology, 40% achieve VietGAP/organic certification, and be certified for OCOP products of 3 stars or higher...

The coordination contents include: Raising awareness, innovating thinking and building high-quality human resources; developing and strengthening collective economic organizations; applying science and technology and enhancing product value; accessing markets and financial resources.
