
British Royal Cave Association expedition discovers 5 caves in Lam Hoa commune
On March 24, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Secretary of the Party Committee of Lam Hoa Commune (Tuyen Hoa) said that the expedition team of the British Royal Cave Association discovered at least 5 caves in the commune.
According to Mr. Phuc, through the initial survey process, BCRA has measured 5 caves, including Hung Tru 1, Hung Tru 2, Hung Tru 3, Hung Ka Vong 1, Hung Ka Vong 2 with a total length of 3,349m.
All the caves are wet, some caves have dry branches. Of which, Hung Tru 1 cave is 1,919m long and 11m deep. Hung Tru 2 cave is 502m long and 25.8m deep. Hung Tru 3 cave is 153m long and 11.4m deep. Hung Ka Vong 1 cave is 238m long and 2.8m deep. Hung Ka Vong 2 cave is 537m long and 5m deep.

In addition, experts also discovered a cave with a fairly large underground stream, but could not fully survey it due to insufficient equipment, so they withdrew to prepare boats, rescue equipment, and diving tanks for further survey.
According to BCRA experts, the discovery of the above caves is only the initial result of the survey in Lam Hoa commune, and it is likely that there are many more unexplored caves in this locality.
