Cracks discovered on a high hill, 13 households in Tan Ly village had to evacuate urgently

Authorities discovered a crack on a high hill, forcing 13 households in Tan Ly village, Lam Thuy commune (Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province) to evacuate urgently.

On November 1, Lang Ho Border Post, Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard, said that the unit had just coordinated with local authorities and forces to urgently evacuate 13 households in Tan Ly village, Lam Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province.

Accordingly, on the morning of November 1, Lang Ho Border Post, Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard, coordinated with the Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of Lam Thuy Commune, the Commune Police and the villages to inspect the situation after the flood.

Through inspection, a crack was discovered on the hill behind Tan Ly village, about 5 - 20cm wide, in some places nearly 1m, about 40 - 55m long, about 15m from the nearest house.

Faced with that situation, authorities urgently evacuated 13 households with 61 people at risk of landslides to safety.
