Detecting drug and illegal fireworks transportation

On March 10, information from Dakrong District Police ( Quang Tri ) said that the unit had just discovered and arrested a case of drug and firecracker transportation.

Two suspects H. and Q. were arrested by the authorities.

Previously, at around 4:30 p.m. on March 9, Dakrong District Police inspected and arrested two suspects, including LQH (17 years old, residing in Lao Bao Town) and NCQ (16 years old, residing in Tan Thanh Commune, both in Huong Hoa District) who were traveling by bus from Lao Bao Town to Dong Ha City.

Through inspection, it was discovered that the two suspects were possessing 12,000 pink synthetic drug pills.

20 minutes later, Dakrong District Police inspected car with license plate 74A-071.86 driven by Ms. LTHT (45 years old, Tan Thanh Commune, Huong Hoa District) traveling in the direction of Lao Bao Town to Dong Ha City. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the car contained 120 kg of explosive firecrackers; including 80 boxes of explosive fireworks and 20 bags of firecrackers.

120 kg of various types of fireworks were discovered in Ms. LTHT's car.

Currently, Dakrong District Police have confiscated the exhibits and continue to investigate and handle the two cases and related suspects.
