Objective measure of teachers' contribution

Recently, patriotic emulation movements have been launched and implemented by Thuy Lien Secondary School (Thai Thuy, Thai Binh ) with many forms and rich, attractive content.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Principal of the school, the results of the patriotic emulation movement have had a positive impact, contributing to building a team of teachers who are politically and ideologically steadfast, exemplary in ethics and lifestyle, and actively study and practice in all aspects. Students have had positive changes in their awareness, have a high sense of responsibility in studying and practicing, and their life skills are getting better and more flexible.

The results of the movement also contribute to building a healthy educational environment, improving the quality of comprehensive education , creating trust among students and the whole society.

In particular, the emulation movement has aroused the sense of dedication and enthusiasm in the team, encouraging the teaching staff to strive to complete their tasks well in the school year.

Among the many movements implemented, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung mentioned the propaganda and education on the tradition of patriotism, indomitable will and spirit of national solidarity to raise awareness and belief in the cause of education and training innovation, the aspiration to rise of the staff, workers and students in the whole school; promote the glorious historical tradition of the school on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of its founding.

Promote, practice thrift, fight waste; compete in learning, lifelong learning society; join hands to build new countryside; for the poor - leave no one behind"; join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025; all managers, teachers, staff and workers compete to practice office culture, along with promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; innovate and be creative in management, teaching and learning; review functions, tasks and powers, streamline the school's organization to operate effectively, efficiently and effectively.

Actively discover, foster, propagate, and honor advanced examples, models, and creative solutions among teachers and students. Continue to promote the emulation movement "Good Teaching - Good Learning" as a regular and central task in educational activities at schools, implementing it in conjunction with campaigns launched by the Ministry of Education and Training and localities...

“It can be said that promoting the patriotic emulation movement among teachers and students is an important solution to create motivation to excellently complete the tasks set for the school year. The results of the unit's emulation movement will be an objective measure to evaluate the qualities, capacities and contributions of the team of education managers and trade union officials at all levels,” Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung shared.

Focus on helping teachers develop professionally

In the period of 2020-2025, Ha Hoa Town Primary School (Ha Hoa, Phu Tho) was recognized as a unit with outstanding achievements, a typical example in the patriotic emulation movement of the Education sector of Phu Tho province.

Sharing the solutions to achieve the above results, Principal Tran Thi Bich Hanh said that the school has regularly organized seminars to implement innovation in teaching and learning, research innovative experiences among all teachers; discover and nurture gifted students in all grades 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Activities to help teachers develop their expertise are given special attention. Accordingly, with the core of the training work being the professional group leaders and excellent teachers at all levels, the school regularly improves the content and form of professional group activities; spends more time on professional activities and prioritizes training to improve skills.

Strengthening the training work of schools and professional groups such as: Implementing the study of topics on innovative teaching methods, innovative testing, assessment, and classification of students, visiting classes, observing lessons, and teaching demonstrations through competitions; focusing on self-study, self-training, and experience accumulation; training on skills in using teaching equipment, computer skills, and improving IT knowledge.

Gather a team of good, dedicated teachers, especially young teachers, with a specific training plan for this team. Organize class observation, class visits, experience exchange, and help teachers who are limited in teaching methods.

Raising the awareness of self-study and self-improvement among teachers is also of great concern. The school assigns teachers to help each other, good and good teachers help average teachers, thereby making the school's training plan more convenient and easier. At the beginning of the school year, the school organizes observation of teaching quality to classify teachers, on that basis the school makes a monthly professional training plan.

At the same time, innovate the work inspection and evaluation of work efficiency by developing criteria for comprehensive evaluation of cadres, teachers and employees by scores. Do a good job of administrative management and operation of the agency's activities to ensure strict compliance with working days and labor discipline. An effective solution is to innovate the emulation and reward work. The school builds specific emulation targets, plans the reward levels to be included in the internal spending regulations and publicizes them to all staff and teachers. Innovation starts from the stage of building emulation plans for the whole school year, for major emulation events to building specific emulation criteria for groups and individuals; evaluating and classifying each period and the whole school year. The reward work is well implemented, contributing to motivating and encouraging the whole unit in performing assigned tasks.

“With many comprehensive solutions, the school's teaching staff always strives to improve, has a sense of responsibility for assigned work, and has solid professional skills. In the collective, there are typical individuals who are the core in all school activities, and no individual has been disciplined in any form,” said Ms. Tran Thi Bich Hanh.
