Promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, dedication, constant innovation and creativity

In the exciting atmosphere of the whole country's emulation towards the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress and the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam, yesterday afternoon the 5th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the National Assembly Office took place, period 2025 - 2030. In his opening speech at the Congress, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh emphasized that this is a very important event to evaluate the results of the patriotic emulation movement in the period 2020 - 2025, honor advanced models and determine the direction and motivation for emulation in the period 2025 - 2030.

Imbued with the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, “Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation. And those who emulate are the most patriotic”, throughout the process of construction and development, the Office of the National Assembly has always upheld the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, dedication, constantly innovated and created, taking the patriotic emulation movement as an important driving force to successfully complete the task of advising and serving the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly agencies.

Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh stated that in the 2020 - 2025 period, with many difficulties, challenges, and fluctuations, the workload has increased unprecedentedly, along with the requirement to innovate the organizational apparatus in the direction of streamlining and becoming stronger, the National Assembly Office has united and made efforts to complete a large amount of work; advising on the successful organization of 19 National Assembly sessions, 99 meetings of the National Assembly Standing Committee, and thousands of domestic and international meetings and conferences. "It can be said that the number of meetings and sessions is the largest ever in a National Assembly term."

In addition, the legislative work was also effectively supported, contributing to the National Assembly passing 99 laws, 221 resolutions and many important documents. The supervision work was also strongly innovated, many question and answer sessions left a deep impression, meeting the expectations of voters and people nationwide.

The Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the Office of the National Assembly also pointed out that foreign affairs activities have also seen very positive changes, including the successful organization of the 9th Global Young Parliamentarians Conference as well as many other major international events that have contributed to enhancing the position and role of the Vietnamese National Assembly. Digital transformation work in recent years has also been implemented very actively and drastically, bringing about many remarkable results. The platforms and technology applications put into operation have contributed to modernizing the activities of the National Assembly.

The emulation blocs have operated flexibly and effectively; many movements and models with new ways of doing things, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality. Through regular emulation movements and thematic emulation, many initiatives and solutions to improve the process and enhance the effectiveness of consulting and serving have been formed, making practical contributions to the activities of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly's agencies. The commendation work has been carried out in a timely manner, in accordance with regulations, ensuring fairness, publicity and transparency. Many collectives and individuals have been awarded titles and many other noble forms of commendation.

According to Phan Thi Thuy Linh, Head of the General Department, Office of the National Assembly, emulation movements have encouraged innovation in working methods, strong application of information technology, bringing digital transformation and artificial intelligence into each document processing process as well as consulting processes, serving parliamentary activities.

An important milestone to open a new stage of development

Entering the 2025 - 2030 period, the tasks set for the Office of the National Assembly are increasingly difficult, requiring stronger innovation, more proactiveness and more responsibility in all areas of work.

Emphasizing this, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh hopes that all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers need to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, dedication, creativity, compete to build a typical public service culture, promote the application of technology and artificial intelligence in consulting, synthesizing, improving the quality and effectiveness of strategic consulting work, contributing to serving the 16th National Assembly to excellently fulfill its assigned responsibilities.

To realize this requirement, specific directions and tasks have also been clearly set out in the Summary Report of the patriotic emulation movement and commendation work for the period 2020 - 2025; directions and tasks of emulation and commendation work for the period 2025 - 2030 of the National Assembly Office,

Accordingly, with the motto of action "Solidarity - Democracy - Professionalism - Creativity - Innovation", continuing to inherit the experiences and achievements that have been achieved, in the coming period, the Office of the National Assembly determines the general direction and goal as follows: Promoting the tradition of solidarity, innovation, proactiveness, breakthroughs, emulation and striving to excellently complete the political goals and tasks in 2025 and the entire period of 2026-2030, successfully implementing the Resolution of the National Assembly Party Congress and the National Assembly Office Party Congress for the term 2025-2030.

Regarding emulation and reward work, the Office of the National Assembly strives that every year, 100% of agencies, organizations and units under the Office of the National Assembly organize the launching and signing of emulation covenants; 100% of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers enthusiastically participate in emulation movements and aim for the common goal of successfully completing the targets and tasks of the Office of the National Assembly from now until the end of 2025 and in the period of 2026-2030, contributing to the cause of national construction and development.

In addition, deploy the application of digital transformation in the evaluation and reward; ensure that rewards are given to the right subjects, in accordance with regulations and in substance; promptly encourage and reward small groups and direct workers.
