* Reporter: Dear Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, could you tell us about the outstanding results of the Front's work in the past term?

- Comrade Le Van Binh: In the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations at all levels in the province have constantly innovated the content and methods of operation, focused on the grassroots, attracted and gathered union members, association members and people from all walks of life to promote the strength of the great solidarity bloc to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 10th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, contributing to promoting the socio -economic development of the province.
The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province closely coordinate with branches and member organizations to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people of all walks of life to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the province's mechanisms and policies in socio-economic development in many rich and diverse forms. Actively organize cultural, artistic and sports activities to contribute to educating patriotism, national pride, and improving the cultural and spiritual life of union members, association members and people. The Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations have many lively and creative ways to make studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle a regular activity in each agency, organization and among union members, association members and people of all walks of life. Along with that, they have proactively grasped the situation of union members, association members and people to promptly propose solutions to difficulties and obstacles right at the grassroots level.
On the occasion of the anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's traditional day on November 18 every year, 100% of residential areas in the province organize the National Great Unity Festival with many meaningful activities such as: Mobilizing to build new rural areas (NTM), civilized urban areas, praising and rewarding exemplary cultural families and clans, handing over great unity houses, giving gifts to poor households, mass art festivals... Thereby, encouraging people to promote the traditions of their homeland and clans to build a cultural life at the grassroots level, consolidating the village and neighborhood relationship, promoting the strength of the community; at the same time, creating close ties and connections between the leaders of the Party, the State, Party committees, authorities, cadres, party members and the people.

The work of social supervision and criticism by the Front and socio-political organizations has become a regular activity, carried out more and more systematically, with quality gradually improved. Activities of participating in giving opinions on Party and government building have been maintained and deepened. The Fatherland Front at all levels continues to be consolidated, improved, and operates effectively. The content and methods of coordination between members in the Front system have been innovated; the role of the Front in presiding over consultation and unifying action has been enhanced; the coordination work between the Front and the government, departments, branches, and organizations has been focused on, becoming increasingly practical and effective.
* Reporter: The Party Committee, government and people in the province highly appreciate the results achieved in the past term, especially the movement "For the poor - No one is left behind", could you share more about this activity?
- Comrade Le Van Binh: Patriotic emulation movements and campaigns chaired and launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province have increasingly entered into life, received the participation of all classes of people, achieved many positive results, with many good, creative and effective ways of doing things; many advanced models and examples have been promoted, replicated and achieved important and meaningful achievements. Effectively implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" associated with the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" has created a bright, green, clean, beautiful new rural appearance, civilized lifestyle. As a result, up to now, Ninh Thuan has 2 districts Ninh Phuoc and Ninh Hai recognized as meeting the new rural district standards, 32 communes meeting the new rural standards, 14 communes meeting the advanced new rural standards, 6 villages meeting the model new rural standards.

With the spirit of spreading love, humanity, affection and solidarity, the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels in the province has received support from organizations and individuals inside and outside the province of more than 80.8 billion VND; has mobilized many resources to support the construction of 2,344 houses for poor and near-poor households, people affected by natural disasters and climate change with an amount of over 100.3 billion VND; supported medical examination and treatment, purchased health insurance cards for people in near-poor and poor households and assisted in sudden difficulties, supported economic development with a total amount of over 11 billion VND. In addition, when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels organized a call for support for COVID-19 prevention and control worth over VND 126.4 billion, of which the provincial level mobilized over VND 81 billion (cash support of VND 36.57 billion, medical equipment support worth over VND 44.7 billion), contributing to the province's effective implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control.
The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front has proactively proposed, chaired the development and implementation of the Housing Support Project for poor and near-poor households for the 2023-2025 period with the goal of ensuring that 1,243 poor and near-poor households have stable housing and is a project to welcome the 15th Provincial Party Congress, with a total implementation cost of over 124 billion VND and has implemented the first phase of the project, building 242 houses to hand over to poor and near-poor households before the Lunar New Year 2024. At the same time, launched the program "Building 300 great solidarity houses" to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024-2029 term. At the same time, effectively implemented many models to create livelihoods for people, helping people escape poverty sustainably. At the same time, signed with the Provincial People's Committee to deploy a plan for each commune, ward and town to build a livelihood model to achieve the goal of sustainable poverty reduction in the period of 2023-2025. Initially, 71 models were built; promptly supported people affected by natural disasters to build 277 new houses, repair 224 houses, worth 15.56 billion VND, well implemented social security policies... contributing to reducing poor households in the whole province (by the end of 2023) to 4.21% and near-poor households to 4.61%.

* Reporter: During the past term, the Fatherland Front at all levels has promoted digital transformation and applied information technology to the Front's activities. Could you please elaborate on this issue?
- Comrade Le Van Binh: In recent times, the Fatherland Front at all levels has been proactive, making efforts, focusing on innovating content, diversifying methods, especially implementing digital transformation and applying information technology to improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda work on the Party's guidelines and resolutions, policies and laws of the State through electronic information pages, the Front's Work Newsletter, social networks, periodically organizing quarterly conferences to inform the situation and listen to people's opinions, successfully organizing the Contest "Learning about the Party's laws and resolutions online", attracting 30,674 participants, creating a spread in society, contributing significantly to creating consensus among all classes of people. Proactively and boldly applying information technology to propaganda work, implementing more and more effectively the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods". Organized the photo contest "I trust Vietnamese products" on the Facebook community page, attracting 698 entries, over 396,000 interactions, over 700,000 accesses and the online contest "Vote for favorite OCOP products of Ninh Thuan province" in 2023, with 41 entries being OCOP products, attracting 5,763 votes.

At the same time, advising the Steering Committee of the campaign to compile and publish 600 propaganda documents, promulgating criteria for evaluating the implementation of the campaign... has contributed to raising awareness, creating positive spillovers among the people and concretizing the goal of changing thinking from prioritizing to trusting Vietnamese goods. Promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation has contributed to promoting the efficiency of the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2019-2024 term, making a meaningful contribution to socio-economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of the people, consolidating national defense and security, building a clean and strong Party, government and political system, contributing to turning Ninh Thuan from a poor province to a middle-income province.
* Reporter: To achieve the goal of building a prosperous and happy homeland of Ninh Thuan, what solutions does the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province have to successfully achieve the above goal in the 2024-2029 term?
- Comrade Le Van Binh: The road to construction and development ahead has many opportunities and advantages, but also many difficulties and challenges. The goal set by the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress is that by 2025, the province will be a fairly developed province in the region and the whole country, by 2030, the province will have an average income in the upper middle group of the country, and by 2045, it will become a comprehensively developed province with a high income - this is the expectation of the people of the province. To contribute to the successful implementation of the above goal, it requires the Fatherland Front and its member organizations to continue to innovate more strongly the content and methods of operation to meet the requirements and tasks, and build a Front organization that is truly the core and representative of the great national unity bloc. Continue to widely gather all classes, strata, and religions, contributing to creating consensus and strength to successfully carry out the socio-economic development tasks of the province.
In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province continues to closely follow the political tasks of the Provincial Party Committee to unify coordination and mobilize all classes of people to compete in studying, working, and producing, striving to complete and exceed the goals set by the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress and the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030. Continuously consolidate, strengthen, and promote the tradition and strength of the great national unity bloc, striving to build Ninh Thuan province into a fairly good province in the region. Focus on effectively implementing the 6 contents of the action program set out in the resolution for the term 2024-2029. Promote digital transformation, build and consolidate the Vietnam Fatherland Front system with a strong focus on the grassroots, operating smoothly, substantially, and effectively; strongly promote the role and responsibility of member organizations, leaders and members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and the Advisory Council to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation. Strengthen measures to grasp the situation of the people and public opinion to gather and reflect to the Party Committee and the government; monitor, supervise and urge the handling and settlement of opinions and recommendations, responding to the legitimate and just aspirations of the people.
Create a favorable environment for people to exercise their mastery, express their opinions, recommendations, thoughts and aspirations to the Party Committee and the government. Promote the effective role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people, proactively participate in building the Party, the government and a strong political system. Mobilize people to actively participate in reflecting, denouncing and fighting against manifestations and acts of corruption and waste. Improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism activities, especially in areas directly related to people's lives and the responsibilities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations.
Mobilize people to compete in creative labor, develop production and business, promote talents and initiatives, help each other to sustainably reduce poverty, and strive to become rich legitimately. Continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, focusing on the campaigns: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses"... Continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation of the Fatherland Front at all levels, focusing on the grassroots, especially residential areas; build self-governing, united, prosperous and happy residential areas, which are places to preserve and promote the good cultural values of families, clans, localities and the country.

Regularly consolidate and improve the organizational structure in the system in accordance with its functions and tasks, and operate effectively and efficiently. Strengthen training and capacity building for the Front and mass organizations' staff, focusing on training and improving the staff at the grassroots level and the Front's working committees in residential areas.
More than ever, the lesson of solidarity and the strategy of great national solidarity in Ninh Thuan province must be raised to a new level; the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province needs to continue to thoroughly disseminate to all classes of people the Party's viewpoints and Ho Chi Minh's thought on great national solidarity; especially Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW dated November 24, 2023 of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national solidarity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous and happy in order to continue to call for, encourage, and strongly arouse the spirit of patriotism, the will of national self-reliance, self-reliance, belief, and aspiration to contribute, to build Ninh Thuan homeland to be increasingly prosperous, civilized, and happy.

I believe and expect that the members of the new Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will promote their sense of responsibility and enthusiasm, concretize the congress resolution with practical action programs, aiming to enhance the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; promote the tradition and strength of great national unity; expand democracy; innovate and create; realize the aspiration to build a prosperous, civilized and happy Ninh Thuan homeland, in line with the congress's title. At the same time, continue to make new steps forward, strive to make social supervision and criticism activities truly become the "brand" of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, with the goal of promoting democracy, representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people; pay more attention to caring for the poor and vulnerable groups in society who are facing housing difficulties. Along with that, strengthen the training and fostering of Front cadres to be on par with the tasks set out in the new situation.

I hope that after the congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province will continue to strongly innovate its organization, content, and methods of operation so that the Vietnam Fatherland Front is truly a political alliance, a voluntary union, representing the will, aspirations, rights and legitimate and legitimate interests of the people. In recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has done a good job of uniting religious compatriots. Therefore, I hope that in the coming term, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will continue to diversify and flexibly mobilize, gather, and unite religious compatriots in the province. Propaganda and mobilize people to exercise their freedom of belief and religion in accordance with the law and in accordance with the cultural traditions of the nation. Along with that, we will further expand the work of dialogue with the people, especially dialogue from the grassroots, such as organizing more diverse forms of voter contact, strengthening the organization of dialogue between people of all walks of life with Party committees, authorities and leaders at all levels; have a stronger voice in the fight against corruption, waste, practice thrift, participate in building a clean and strong Party and government.
