TKC Dong Nai is striving to soon become a major technical service center in the region and the country.

Perform many inspection and calibration services

TKC Dong Nai’s Thermoelectricity and Physical Chemistry Department is almost always full of electric meters every day, because this is where the service of testing and verifying electric meters is performed (meters that have been tested by other units are tested and verified by TKC Dong Nai). Each electric meter needs about 2 hours to complete the testing and lead sealing process. Electric meters can only be put into use in households after they have undergone this testing process and are determined to meet standards and are sealed according to regulations.

TKC Dong Nai brand is granted a certificate of trademark registration by the Department of Intellectual Property under the Ministry of Science and Technology (license number: 4-0479363-000; date of issue: February 5, 2024).

Verification or verification of electric meter is one of many fields of inspection, calibration and testing services that TKC Dong Nai is implementing, including: mass and capacity; technical and safety fields (radiation safety, pressure equipment, lifting equipment, dosimeters); chemical and physical fields (length measuring devices, force measuring devices, laboratory instruments, bricks, paving stones, gasoline, oil, lubricants, gold jewelry, etc.); thermal power fields...

In 2024, TKC Dong Nai performed inspection, calibration, and testing of about 70,000 measuring devices, equipment, and samples.

The center also provides services in the fields of consulting, training and energy saving. Accordingly, the unit is providing energy auditing services (measurement, analysis, calculation, assessment to determine energy consumption, energy saving potential, proposing solutions for energy saving and efficiency for energy-using facilities), and monitoring the working environment for enterprises. This unit also provides consulting services on trademark registration, code registration, barcode registration such as: searching for evaluation, exclusive registration of trademarks and trade names.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phu Tinh, Deputy Director in charge of TKC Dong Nai, thanks to proactively building development plans and taking care of customers, the center has signed contracts with a number of large and potential customers in many fields. These contracts not only enhance the center's reputation, but also open up opportunities for long-term cooperation with strategic partners.

Overcoming difficulties

With its available potential, TKC Dong Nai plans to develop a strategy to soon become a major technical service center in the region and the country. However, this center is facing some difficulties.

Regarding technical services in the field of thermal power, due to long-term investment, many equipment in the field of thermal power inspection are old, no longer ensuring high accuracy, some equipment is damaged and cannot be used. This leads to a lack of necessary equipment to meet work requirements. Although many inspection, testing and consulting services have been performed, TKC Dong Nai still faces difficulties in expanding the scale and improving service quality.

To address the above difficulties, TKC Dong Nai identified, maintained and replaced old, outdated equipment, and enhanced brand recognition through seminars, exhibitions and customer care services. In addition, the center plans to periodically survey customer needs, apply digital technology, build long-term partnerships, as well as improve competitiveness and expand the market.
