To promote the attraction of tourists from Kazakhstan and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to Vietnam in the 2025-2026 season, from May 12 to 23, Anex Vietnam Company welcomed 100 leading sales agents from Kazakhstan and CIS countries to Da Nang. The most important highlight of the program is the tourism promotion seminar between CIS regional agents and Anex Vietnam's hotel partners held on May 14.

Anex Vietnam General Director Nguyen Duc Tan said that this program is part of Anex Vietnam's long-term strategy to develop Da Nang into an attractive destination for tourists from Kazakhstan and the CIS, and is also an important preparation step for reopening charter flights from Russia to Da Nang in the summer of 2026 with an expected operating capacity of up to 13,000 passengers per month.
“Anex Vietnam hopes that this conference will not only promote the growth of international tourists to Vietnam but will also become an annual destination promotion event, contributing to building sustainable destinations for the tourism market of Kazakhstan and CIS countries,” Mr. Nguyen Duc Tan emphasized.

In the near future, Da Nang City will merge with Quang Nam Province, becoming one of the largest localities in the country with great advantages in tourism resources, especially the World Cultural Heritage of Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary, which are loved by tourists, thereby creating more diverse experiences rich in cultural identity for tourists.
“Kazakhstan and CIS countries are new and potential tourist markets that Da Nang has been interested in investing and promoting in recent years. Currently, through direct connecting flights, every month there are about 10,000 visitors from cities in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan visiting and traveling to Da Nang,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An.
To expand opportunities to attract Central Asian tourists to explore the dynamic, modern and friendly coastal city of Vietnam and vice versa, the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang said that he is always ready to act as a bridge connecting and cooperating between domestic enterprises with the Kazakhstan and CIS markets, supporting enterprises in communicating, promoting services, promoting markets, flight routes and exploiting tourism activities.
