(LĐ online) - Bao Loc City People's Committee has issued a decision approving the detailed construction planning project at a scale of 1/500 of the old market land (Ward 1) with an area of 1,612 hectares; of which, commercial - service land accounts for nearly 65%, the rest is traffic land.

According to the planning project, this area is identified as a project with special requirements for landscape architecture and urban highlights. In order to achieve the set goals, the architectural project is designed and constructed to ensure compliance with the design documents on red lines, construction boundaries, urban design documents, technical and economic indicators on land use, number of floors, and construction density as provided in the detailed planning project.
Small architectural works, auxiliary works and urban facilities that affect landscape architecture must ensure that they do not obscure the main works, do not obstruct internal traffic, and do not pose a danger to users.
Ensure that the architecture and color of the building are in harmony with the overall area. Encourage the creation of large setbacks, open spaces, and crowded access spaces.
Protect the landscape by ensuring that the technical infrastructure network and environmental sanitation system are well organized and comply with regulations.
Organize the traffic system according to the city's orientation; at the same time, connect with existing routes to create a complete, smooth and convenient traffic system for circulation in the area and easily connect with neighboring areas.
Commercial service center: Arrange suitable functions, meet the requirements and nature of the project; unify a common architectural form and make the most of the land fund. Propose the project as an urban highlight in the central core area with height and construction density suitable to the orientation of the general planning, construction planning standards and needs at the investment project establishment stage along with the results of the architectural competition.
Green areas include public trees on urban sidewalks and construction trees, both creating landscapes for commercial service spaces and meeting the community living needs of people living in the area, designed to contribute to the urban landscape and take advantage of natural conditions as development advantages.

According to Decision No. 1194/QD-UBND dated June 16, 2023 of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee on approving the general planning of Bao Loc City and surrounding areas of Lam Dong province until 2040, the planning area is an urban-level commercial and service center. Therefore, it is necessary to implement and ensure a number of construction management indicators such as: Planning scale; indicators on land use planning and organization of landscape architecture space; indicators on technical infrastructure planning.
Bao Loc City People's Committee requests the investor, the Construction Investment Project Management Board, within 15 days from the date the planning is approved, to preside over and coordinate with Ward 1 People's Committee and the Urban Management Department to organize the announcement of the approved planning so that relevant organizations and individuals know, implement and supervise the implementation.
The Urban Management Department is responsible for providing planning information such as: Construction planning locations, road boundaries, construction boundaries, construction elevations, building heights within the scope of construction planning projects for organizations and individuals upon request; construction management according to approved planning and current regulations of the State.
Relevant departments and offices, Ward 1 People's Committee with assigned functions and tasks, are responsible for guiding, coordinating and managing, implementing according to approved planning.
Since mid-2015, the old Bao Loc market has been relocated to a new market in the Ha Giang planning area. Since then, this old market land has been left vacant until now.
