Approved over 17 billion VND for compensation, support, and resettlement of the first section of the Eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot City.

The People's Committee of Cu M'gar district has just approved the compensation, support and resettlement plan when the State reclaims land for the Ho Chi Minh Road Construction Investment Project, the eastern bypass section of Buon Ma Thuot City (project).

This information was reported by the project investor at a working session with the Ministry of Construction 's working delegation on the afternoon of June 7, 2025.

Specifically, according to Decision No. 3345/QD-UBND dated June 3, 2025 of the People's Committee of Cu M'gar district approving the land recovery with an area of ​​1,686.7 ^m2 of 10 households and individuals (including 636.3 ^m2 of rural residential land; 343.7 ^m2 of perennial land and 706.7 ^m2 of land in the traffic corridor). The total cost of compensation, support and resettlement is more than 17 billion VND.

Regarding the site clearance of this project, the Ministry of Construction previously sent an official dispatch requesting Dak Lak province to direct relevant units and localities to speed up the handover of the site to the investor. In case of delay or failure to meet the requirements for the implementation and completion of the project, the Ministry of Construction requested the leaders of Dak Lak province to consider and handle the responsibilities of relevant collectives and individuals.

The Ho Chi Minh Road Construction Investment Project, the eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot City, is invested by the Dak Lak Province Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Transport Works and Rural Development . The project is over 39 km long, passing through the districts of Cu M'gar, Cu Kuin, Krong Pac and Buon Ma Thuot City.

Particularly, the section through Cu M'gar district is 5.9 km long, currently stuck at the first 113m of the section through Cuor Dang commune of 22 households, of which 13 households are subject to resettlement. In addition to the 10 households approved in Decision No. 3345, 1 household is completing and submitting a resettlement plan and 2 households are stuck with legal procedures regarding land use right certificates.
