The launch came “24 hours after another military drone operation targeting the same Israeli targets,” a spokesman for the militant group said on Tuesday.

The Israeli military said it intercepted a rocket near the Red Sea, saying it used its “Arrow” air defense system to shoot down a rocket on Tuesday after sirens sounded in the port city of Eilat. Israel said the projectile did not enter its territory and did not say who fired it.
Earlier, the leader of the Houthi forces in Yemen said that his group would continue to carry out attacks against Israel. “We are always ready to monitor and search for any Israeli ships in the Red Sea, especially in Bab al-Mandab and near the waters of the Yemeni region,” said Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthi group.
According to the Israeli government, Houthi forces have carried out several missile and drone attacks on Israel since the Israel-Hamas war broke out on October 7.
The war in Gaza has caused heightened tensions across the region, prompting international organizations and political leaders to warn of a possible wider war across the Middle East.
