"Prison Break" reboots with new cast

The once-popular TV series will be remade with the plot being kept secret.

The new version of the series is not expected to feature characters that are very familiar to audiences like Michael Scofield (played by Wentworth Miller) or Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell). Instead, it will exist in the same universe as the original Prison Break but focus on a new group of prisoners.

The reboot has recently found three actors to play the main roles, who will appear in the introductory episode: Emily Browning, Lukas Gage, and Drake Rodger. These are three young stars but have an impressive acting history, making their mark in a series of popular movies and television shows.

Actress Emily Browning will play Cassidy Collins, described as "a war veteran turned warden who takes a job at one of America's most dangerous prisons." Lukas Gage will play Jackson, a politician from a wealthy family, while Drake Rodger will play Tommy, "an inmate at one of America's most dangerous prisons, incarcerated ten years ago." The plot of the film has not been revealed yet.
