This afternoon (January 17), Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Hien came to present the 65-year Party membership badge to comrade Cao Kim Dan, Party member of Hamlet 1 Party Cell, Ward 1 Party Committee, Ca Mau City.
Comrade Cao Kim Dan was born in 1938, from Khanh Lam commune, U Minh district, and joined the Party on February 1, 1960. Comrade Cao Kim Dan joined the revolution in 1952 when he was only 14 years old and held many different tasks and positions. In 1983, at the 6th Congress of Minh Hai Provincial Party Committee, she was elected to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Tran Van Thoi District Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; in 1992, she assumed the duties of President of the Minh Hai Provincial Women's Union, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union until her retirement in 1998.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Hien presented the 65-year Party membership badge and flowers to congratulate comrade Cao Kim Dan.
Speaking at the Party badge awarding ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Hien expressed gratitude for the contributions of Party member Cao Kim Dan to the revolutionary cause and the socio -economic development of the province.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Hien emphasized that senior party members are role models for cadres and party members to follow, strive to improve their moral qualities and lifestyle. He hoped that comrade Cao Kim Dan would continue to promote the role and responsibility of a senior party member, contribute ideas and experience to all aspects of the Provincial Party Committee's work, and always be a role model for the next generation to learn from and follow.

Although he has been honored to receive the 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60-year and now 65-year Party badges many times, for senior party member Cao Kim Dan, each time he is awarded the Party badge is very sacred and proud.
“The Party badge is a recognition of a lifetime of following the Party and wholeheartedly serving the revolutionary cause. The Party badge is a reminder for myself and my family to live a life worthy of this honor,” said Cao Kim Dan emotionally.
