At Muong Khuong Border Guard Station, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Vice President and the delegation listened to the Chief of Muong Khuong Border Guard Station report on the results of implementing political tasks and the work of managing and protecting the national border; the work of maintaining political security, social order and safety in the border area; the work of mobilizing the masses, building the area, consolidating politics at the grassroots level, and participating in the program of the army joining hands to build new rural areas in the past time.
Expressing her appreciation and praise for the achievements of the unit in the past time, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan hoped that the officers and soldiers of Muong Khuong Border Guard Station would continue to overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and People; continue to cultivate, train, improve capacity, bravery, politics, ethics and lifestyle, maintain the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, the heroic Vietnam People's Army. Continue to participate in coordinating and supporting local Party committees and authorities in socio-economic development, improving the lives of people in border areas, so that each citizen is a border guard soldier, actively participating with the Border Guard force in firmly protecting the national border security and sovereignty. Do a good job of border foreign affairs in depth and substance, contributing to building a peaceful , friendly, cooperative and developed border.
The Vice President noted that in the coming time, officers and soldiers must proactively grasp the border security situation, perform well the work of advising localities; accurately forecast the situation and developments; proactively respond, not allowing unexpected situations to occur; further enhance the sense of responsibility, tighten discipline, self-education, improve revolutionary ethics, political mettle, professional qualifications, to increasingly respond well to the new situation. Continue to care for and look after the material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers so that they can work with peace of mind and perform well the assigned tasks; continue to strengthen close relationships with the people.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan also asked the leaders of Lao Cai province to continue paying attention to border districts and border posts to build and protect border areas, maintain a peaceful, friendly, stable border environment, and increasingly develop a prosperous and beautiful border.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan recorded in the Border Guard Station's golden book and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of Muong Khuong Border Guard Station. Afterwards, the Vice President and the delegation planted a souvenir tree at Muong Khuong Border Guard Station.
