Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visits and presents gifts to policy families in Ha Tinh

In Duc Tho district, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan met and visited families with meritorious services and children with difficult circumstances who strive to study well.

The Vice President shared the difficulties and praised the families of policy beneficiaries and families with revolutionary contributions for their efforts to rise up and contribute to the construction of the homeland; and encouraged students to overcome difficulties, practice, study well and achieve high results.

Moved when visiting his hometown rich in tradition, culture and revolutionary history, the Vice President expressed that Ha Tinh province is the birthplace of many revolutionary leaders, where there are many historical and cultural relics. These relics have become the pride not only of Ha Tinh but also of the people of the whole country. Historical, cultural and revolutionary relics were formed from the hard work and creativity of the people, from the glorious feats of arms of the army and people of Ha Tinh throughout the past time, especially during the period of resistance, national liberation and national reunification.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan emphasized that thanks to the efforts of the Ha Tinh Party Committee and people, the locality has now been ranked among the top in the development of the North Central region and has made many improvements. The Ha Tinh Party Committee has focused on leading and directing economic and social development and implementing policies for families with meritorious services. Up to now, 98% of families with meritorious services have a life better than or equal to that of the people.

On this occasion, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented 50 gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy families and 200 gifts to poor and excellent students of Ha Tinh province.

Previously, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and the delegation offered incense and flowers at the tomb of General Secretary Tran Phu.

According to the program, in the afternoon of the same day, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Chat in Cam Hung commune and war invalid Nguyen Van Nhuong in Cam My commune (Cam Xuyen district).

During her working trip to Ha Tinh province, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan offered incense at the General Secretary Ha Huy Tap Relic Site, the Temple of the late General Secretary Le Duan (Cam Xuyen district) and the Great Poet Nguyen Du Memorial Site (Nghi Xuan district).

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan attended the program "Sacred Land of Dong Loc - Connecting the thousand-year-old vein" organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper and Ha Tinh province at Dong Loc T-junction Memorial Site, Can Loc district.
