Also attending were Mr. Duong Van Phuoc - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Nam province and leaders of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Provincial Labor Federation.

The visit is a meaningful activity on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, demonstrating the special attention of Party and State leaders to disadvantaged situations in society.

The working delegation visited the living conditions and care of the elderly, the lonely, orphans, and people in difficult circumstances at Hoa Binh Village and units including the Quang Nam Mental Health Nursing Center, the Provincial Social Protection Center, the Vietnamese Sunflower Center, and the Provincial Blind Association.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai acknowledged and commended the contributions of Hoa Binh Village, social protection units, and the Provincial Association for the Blind in caring for and supporting vulnerable groups in society.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Hai encouraged and expressed gratitude to the staff of the units who have always made efforts and devoted themselves to caring for the beneficiaries. At the same time, he requested the province to continue paying attention to social security policies, especially for orphans, the disabled, and the lonely elderly.

On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai and provincial leaders presented Tet gifts to Hoa Binh Village, Quang Nam Mental Health Care Center, Provincial Social Protection Center, Vietnamese Sunflower Center and Provincial Blind Association.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Hai also presented gifts to 43 direct workers and 30 elderly people and children being cared for and raised at Hoa Binh Village; and presented 77 gifts to workers at the Quang Nam Mental Health Care Center and the Provincial Social Protection Center. A local enterprise also presented 30 Tet gifts to the elderly and children being cared for and raised at Hoa Binh Village.
