Checking flood recovery work at schools
On the afternoon of November 25, comrade Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of the Department of Education and Training inspected the work of overcoming the consequences of floods at Dien Dien Primary School and Tran Quang Khai Secondary School (Dien Dien commune).

At the schools, comrade Nguyen Long Bien surveyed the damage; shared the difficulties with the staff, teachers and students; acknowledged the efforts of the schools and support forces in urgently cleaning up and repairing damage caused by floods. He encouraged teachers to continue to overcome difficulties; schools focused on overcoming damage, ensuring learning conditions for students, especially textbooks and desks and chairs, so that by November 29 at the latest, students could return to school. On the part of the Department of Education and Training, it is necessary to urgently review all damage to facilities and teaching equipment of schools to propose to the Provincial People's Committee to arrange funds for repairs; fully count the number of damaged textbooks and send them to the Ministry of Education and Training for timely free distribution to students in flood-affected areas.
