To ensure the safety of the people, Quy Nhon Nam ward had previously evacuated all households in the landslide area to a safe place. Currently, the local authorities have put up warning ropes at the landslide sites, restricting people and vehicles from passing through to ensure safety.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang noted: Currently, the weather is still heavy and complicated, unpredictable, so the risk of landslides is still latent. Therefore, the locality needs to raise vigilance, assign forces to be on duty 24/24 hours to ensure the safety of people's lives and property; review and determine the boundaries of landslide areas to post warning signs of landslide risks, and have a plan to promptly inform people if an incident occurs.
At the same time, the Department of Construction is requested to coordinate with the ward to develop a plan to promptly overcome the landslide situation to stabilize people's lives.
On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang also visited and presented support gifts from Agribank - Binh Dinh Branch to people in Quy Nhon Nam Ward and Quy Nhon Bac Ward. Each ward received support of 30 million VND.
