However, there is a factor that can affect the admission floor score, which is the number of candidates who are admitted and enrolled by direct admission.

If using the B00 block score percentage chart, there will be a clearer correlation view of the scores of 2024 and 2025.

In terms of absolute numbers, the number of candidates with a score greater than 27.00 in 2024 is 1822 while in 2025 there were only 820 candidates achieving this score. Of course, this is a raw score that also depends on the addition of different types of scores.

Based on the analysis of the C00 mass point spectrum, Mr. Cong made some predictions.

In terms of proportion, candidates with scores of 25 points or more have slightly fluctuated compared to last year.

In terms of absolute numbers, there has been a significant decrease compared to last year. Therefore, it is likely that top medical schools may reduce their admission scores by 0.5 - 1.0 points or even more compared to 2024.

Lower-ranked medical schools may fall into the floor score range of 24 – 25.5 points. Therefore, candidates with scores above 24 points will have more opportunities to be admitted to medical schools at different schools if they know how to arrange their wishes appropriately.

The minimum admission scores for the medical majors of top schools will serve as a guide for other majors of the medical school and other majors recruiting block B00 of other schools. Candidates can base on the fluctuation of these scores to place their wishes in other suitable schools.

Mr. Cong also shows candidates how to optimize their preferences to increase their chances of admission, such as: Based on their own scores; Based on the block score spectrum and cumulative score sheet to determine their position among candidates; Based on their own interests and desires.

Students should classify their wishes into 3 groups:

Group 1 is the "hopeful star" group: The majors and schools that I really like but the admission floor scores are higher than my score by about 2.0 - 3.0 points.

Group 2 is the "safe" group of wishes: Majors and schools that I really like and the admission floor scores of previous years are equal to or higher than my own score by about 1.0 - 2.0 points.

Finally, the safe group of wishes are the majors and schools you like and the admission floor score from last year is equal to or lower than your own score by 1.0 - 3.0 points.

Teacher Cong emphasized that students are only admitted to one wish, so they should arrange their wishes in order from "most liked" to "least liked" and these wishes must be in order of decreasing previous year's floor score relatively. Absolutely do not put a safe wish at the top, then if you are admitted to a major you do not like very much, you cannot change.

Secondary criteria such as subject x scores, order of preferences, etc. are only used when considering admission to eliminate candidates who are just equal to the floor score, and there is almost no need to use secondary criteria.
