This afternoon, June 18, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and the Central delegation attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the FPT Education Complex in Thai Hoa Ward, Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong. This is a key project expected to contribute to the local innovative education ecosystem, in line with the orientation of human resource development and digital infrastructure, and at the same time contribute to the implementation of the strategic quartet.

Also attending the ceremony were former President Nguyen Minh Triet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province Vo Van Minh, along with many leaders of departments, ministries, central agencies, leaders of provinces and cities in the country and localities.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh praised Binh Duong's determination in building an innovative ecosystem, in whicheducation plays a central role, as three pillars: digital infrastructure, digital human resources, digital institutions. The Deputy Prime Minister also highly appreciated FPT's investment in a large-scale educational complex in Binh Duong, demonstrating social responsibility and long-term vision in the context of the country's strong transformation.

With a natural area of ​​nearly 2,700 km², a population of more than 1.8 million people and a developed economic, industrial and logistics infrastructure, attracting a lot of domestic and foreign investment, Binh Duong is known as a locality with a strategic position and one of the fastest growth rates in the country.

In the context of the whole country entering the implementation phase of the four strategic strategies: Science and technology development, innovation, national digital transformation (Resolution 57), international integration (Resolution 59), law making and enforcement (Resolution 66), private economic development (Resolution 68), Binh Duong is promoting many key programs to realize this orientation at the local level. The province identifies advanced education, modern digital infrastructure and innovation ecosystem as three central pillars, playing a key role in enhancing competitiveness and attracting high-quality investment, contributing to realizing the vision of developing the Southeast region in the digital age.

FPT Education Complex in Binh Duong, which started construction on June 18, is a key project built in line with the local development orientation. The project is located in Thai Hoa Ward, Tan Uyen City, on a land area of ​​over 84,000 m², with a total floor area of ​​approximately 130,000 m². The project includes lecture halls, dormitories, multi-purpose service areas, standard football fields and auxiliary items, fully meeting the learning and living needs of learners.

Following the architectural characteristics of FPT educational facilities in the Southern region, the project in Binh Duong harmonizes the design simulating the image of an atomic network structure with a strong scientific and technological character, with the typical landscape of the Southeast region. This complex also creates an educational ecosystem from high school, college, and university in the direction of strong digital transformation.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province affirmed: "This is not only a construction project, but also a place to nurture thousands of students and technological talents of the Southeast region".

He also appreciated FPT's long-term, systematic technology education development strategy, emphasizing its role in training global citizens and actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and region.

FPT Education Complex in Binh Duong is expected to be a key educational project, bearing a strong regional imprint, and at the same time closely linked to the long-term development orientation that the Southeast and the whole country are aiming for.

Along with industry, logistics and smart urban development, knowledge industry and education are the core foundations for Binh Duong to rise up in the new era of the nation with other key provinces and cities.

The FPT education complex in Binh Duong is an important premise to create a modern learning environment for students, increasing opportunities to access international standard training programs with modern technology fields, contributing to improving the quality of education in the locality. The integration of modern technology such as artificial intelligence (AI), data science, STEAM into the curriculum is a testament to the pioneering orientation in educational innovation that FPT is implementing.

The project is also a remarkable milestone, marking a breakthrough in both scale and long-term orientation of FPT in the field of education and training, when the FPT education system is now present in 17 out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide, with nearly 90 training facilities and a scale of nearly 145,000 converted learners. The synchronous and systematic investment in FPT's training infrastructure is considered an important foundation to serve the goal of training high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of national development in the digital age.

Phase 1 is expected to complete the roofing of lecture halls, dormitories, multi-purpose buildings and part of the technical infrastructure in the first quarter of 2026 and come into operation in the third quarter of 2026.

With the groundbreaking ceremony of the educational complex in Binh Duong, FPT once again demonstrated its pioneering role in the field of education, while spreading the spirit of social responsibility. On this occasion, FPT Corporation also awarded full scholarships to FPT University for students in Binh Duong.
