Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh inspects the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project

On November 24, a Government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh inspected the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, the section passing through Tay Ninh province.

Attending the inspection and survey of the project were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh Province Le Van Han, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee Nguyen Minh Lam, leaders of provincial departments, branches and communes of My Yen, Luong Hoa and Ben Luc.

Reporting to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Long An Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, the 6.8 km long section passing through the province, includes two component projects including construction investment and compensation and site clearance.

To date, the project has been implemented with 3 main packages ensuring the required progress with a construction value of more than 87%. The temporary opening of the expressway is expected to be on December 19 and the official opening of the entire route in March 2026.

At the inspection, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh praised the contractors' efforts to overcome difficulties and the attention of Tay Ninh province during the project implementation. At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister also requested the construction units to concentrate human resources, machinery and equipment, and work in 3 shifts to ensure technical traffic on December 19 to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party. On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh presented gifts to encourage the construction units.
