Tay Ninh strives to have 80% of schools meet national standards by 2030

In recent years, the Education and Training sector of Tay Ninh province has continued to maintain and improve the quality of comprehensive education and key education. Many government policies such as building schools in border areas, supporting lunch for preschool children, exempting tuition fees for general education, etc. have created favorable conditions for the sector to develop stably.

According to the set target, by 2030, Tay Ninh strives to have 80% of schools meeting national standards.

The team of teachers and managers has been strengthened to meet the requirements of innovation; universal education work has been maintained effectively, the rate of students maintaining attendance and transferring to higher levels is always high.

The province currently has 1,035 educational establishments, of which 970 are public schools; the rate of schools meeting national standards is 67.3%. The school system has been gradually consolidated and standardized according to the requirements of curriculum innovation; the vocational education network has been expanded to meet the needs of the labor market.

Program No. 13-CTr/TU of the Standing Committee of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee issued on November 18, 2025 to implement Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo (13th tenure) on breakthrough in education and training development affirms the view that education is the top national policy and the driving force for development; promotes the role of teachers, takes learners as the center; continues to promote the tradition of studiousness, and builds a learning society.

According to the set target, by 2030, Tay Ninh strives to have 80% of schools meeting national standards; complete universal preschool education for children aged 3-5; implement compulsory education until the end of junior high school; at least 85% of people of school age complete high school or equivalent.

The province also aims to build a system of boarding schools in 19 border communes and increase the proportion of workers with college or university degrees to over 24%. By 2035, the province strives to complete universal upper secondary education; by 2045, it will build a modern, equitable, high-quality education system that exceeds the national average.

To achieve the goal, Program 13-CTr/TU sets out 8 key groups of tasks including: Innovating education management methods; perfecting specific mechanisms and policies; building a system of values ​​for Vietnamese people in the new era; promoting digital transformation; improving the quality of teaching staff and facilities; reforming vocational education; developing higher education; enhancing international cooperation and integration.

Tay Ninh has identified priority for mobilizing resources for digital transformation, training high-quality human resources, developing education in border areas and ethnic minority areas; at the same time, tightening quality management and ensuring cultural security in educational institutions./.
