Deputy Prime Minister requests urgent investigation into cause of fire in Trung Liet (Hanoi)

House fire at No. 6, Alley 14, Lane 68, Trung Liet Street, Trung Liet Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi City.

Telegram sent to: Minister of Public Security ; Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee.

The telegram stated: At about 2:30 a.m. on April 13, 2025, a fire broke out at a house at No. 6, Alley 14, Lane 68, Trung Liet Street, Trung Liet Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi City, killing 2 people in a family. On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh sent his condolences to the relatives and families of the victims and gave the following instructions:

The Hanoi People's Committee directed to organize thoughtful visits, timely encouragement, material and spiritual support, and create the best conditions to help stabilize the housing and life of the victims' families; closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to promptly investigate the cause of the fire, clarify the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals; strictly handle violations (if any) according to the provisions of law. Strengthen propaganda and guidance on fire prevention, fighting, rescue and salvage skills; focus on inspecting and overcoming conditions to ensure fire and explosion safety; proactively develop plans to prevent and fight fires and explosions in the area./.
