However, after public opinion questioned the authenticity of the above results, the school launched an investigation and discovered that she was the daughter of Vice Dean Liu Mo Hua. The investigation results showed that Mr. Liu had allowed his daughter to participate in his research projects and had her name on the articles and inventions - an act that was determined to be a serious violation of copyright regulations in scientific research.

In addition, Mr. Liu's articles were found to contain technical errors, such as using inaccurate images.
