For the past 7 years, Ms. Tuoi's family's 2 hectares of tea have been produced using organic processes combined with processing (photo above). This change has contributed to increasing the economic value of the tea plantation. To increase the value of the crop, Ms. Tuoi's family also invested in machinery and processed it at home with a capacity of nearly 100 tons of fresh buds/year. The model has created jobs and income for a number of local workers. Ms. Vu Thi Hue, Phu Hai 3 village, Phu Nhuan commune, Bao Thang district shared: "There are 4-5 workers in total, working 15 days/month. Thanks to this tea factory, the family also has some income to spend."
