Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 with the theme "The Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An" officially opened on June 1. These days, the Women's Union at all levels of Hoa Lu district is actively practicing folk dances as well as sports activities and folk games to prepare to perform at the Tourism Week.
For nearly a week now, every evening, women from 8/8 women's associations in Ninh Khang commune have put aside their family work and gone to the village cultural house to actively practice folk dances and folk games that will be held at the boat dock of Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area.
While enthusiastically practicing folk dance performances, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bay of the Dong Phu Village Women's Association said: After having a plan to practice folk dance in preparation for participating in the Tourism Week, I and the members of the Association have arranged family work to focus on practicing with the women in the Association. We hope to bring the most unique and attractive performances to serve tourists from near and far to attend and interact at this event.
Ms. Nguyen Thi May, Chairwoman of Ninh Khang Commune Women's Union, said: After having a plan from the District Women's Union to organize a folk dance exchange program, sports activities, and folk games between communes and towns, the Commune Women's Union has deployed to the branches to participate in practicing 2 folk dance performances, including a performance in compulsory Ao Dai costumes and 1 performance in optional costumes to the music of Vietnamese songs. On that basis, the branches organized for members to participate in practicing to select a number of outstanding members from each branch to join the commune team to participate in activities at the Tourism Week.
As a unit with cultural, artistic and sports activities participating in the Tourism Week, to ensure that the activities take place according to the content and time, the Hoa Lu District Women's Union has developed a detailed plan to deploy to the Women's Unions of communes and towns. According to the plan, during the event week, each day 2 communes will participate in performing 2 folk dances with optional costumes and mandatory ao dai costumes. After the teams have finished performing, there will be a group performance of "Hoa Lu lute" and the medley "Qua mien Tay Bac, chien thang Dien Bien Phu, Inh la oi" in traditional ao dai costumes. After the folk dance performance, there will be sports activities. Each team will perform 3 acts including: 1 sword dance, 1 dagger dance, 1 bare-handed martial arts performance and organize exchanges of bamboo dancing, rope jumping, and tug of war with a large number of participating tourists.
It is known that at the Ninh Binh Tourism Week "Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An" in 2023, the Women's Union of Hoa Lu district also organized exciting and attractive exchange activities such as: sports folk dance, knife dance, sword dance, bare-handed martial arts and folk games including: bamboo dance, tug of war, rope jumping. Each performance attracted a large number of tourists and people to watch and cheer. With careful preparation, each team brought a different musical color. Many carefully invested performances, demonstrating the talent and enthusiasm of the teams, brought visitors exciting and attractive performances.
Along with actively participating in practicing cultural and artistic performances, in 2023, the District Women's Union directed the Ninh Hai Commune Women's Union to mobilize female cadres and members to undertake planting 2.6 hectares of rice with the shape of "Ly Ngu Vong Nguyet" to take care of the rice on the Ngo Dong River, contributing to the success of the painting, creating a highlight for tourists when visiting, experiencing, and checking in the beautiful rice fields in Ninh Hai.
Ms. Pham Thi Kim Oanh, President of the Hoa Lu District Women's Union, said: In order to practically respond to the activities participating in the Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024, the District Women's Union has implemented a plan to organize cultural, artistic and sports activities at the Tourism Week for the Women's Unions of communes and towns. On that basis, the units proactively practice their performances to participate. Through this activity, female cadres and members can demonstrate their cultural, artistic and sports abilities, practice and improve their health, attracting more and more members, women and people to participate in the activities of the Union and practice mass sports. At the same time, create a healthy and useful playground for members and women, contribute to improving the cultural and spiritual life of women, build new-age Ninh Binh women with health to fulfill their responsibilities to family and country, spread the image of the Association's activities, the contributions of female cadres and members participating in Tourism Week 2024.
Up to now, the preparations for participating in cultural activities, arts, and folk games at the Tourism Week of the Hoa Lu District Women's Union have been ready. All of them wish to bring the most unique and attractive performances to serve a large number of tourists from near and far, creating an impression of the people and the land of the hospitable and benevolent ancient capital Hoa Lu.
