On the morning of June 9, the Provincial Women's Union held the 5th Conference to honor advanced models of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, period 2020 - 2025.
Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, President of the Provincial Women's Union; Phan Dinh Dat - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Ton Manh - Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Tran Thi Thu Huong - Vice President of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; and representatives of relevant agencies and units.

Imbued with President Ho Chi Minh's teaching "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation", in recent years, the Provincial Women's Union has always closely followed the direction of the Central Union and local political tasks to effectively implement many meaningful emulation movements.
Outstanding as: "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families", "Building Nghe An women of the new era"; Campaign "Training moral qualities of confidence - self-respect - loyalty - responsibility", "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean" and "Family of 5 yes, 3 clean" associated with the campaign "The whole country joins hands to build new countryside", Campaign "All people unite to build new countryside, civilized urban areas" and emulation movements launched by the Provincial People's Committee and branches.
In 5 years, women in the whole province have built 2,937 "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models, including 865 models on economic development; 1,273 models on culture and society; 367 models on ensuring security and national defense; 432 models on building the political system.
The models have created positive ripple effects in the community, contributing to innovation and improving the effectiveness of mass mobilization work, effectively implementing the goals of socio-economic development, building new rural areas, maintaining national defense and security, and building the political system in the province.
The province has supported the establishment of 14 cooperatives led by women, with 132 female members; established 100 cooperative groups, with 1,549 members participating. From these models, jobs have been created for more than 560 workers with stable jobs, with monthly incomes of 5 - 7 million VND.
Women's Unions at all levels have supported capacity building for 156 women business owners, 801 women household business owners, 29 women cooperative managers; supported training, consulting, connection, access to information and markets for 570 women's businesses; and supported the establishment of 41 new women's businesses .
Over the past 5 years, 139,161 households with poor and near-poor women have been supported by the association, of which 4,533 households have women who have escaped poverty or near-poverty. 24,597 members and women in difficult circumstances have been supported with money, gifts, working days, and offspring; 32,947 women with disabilities; 9,161 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, former youth volunteers, female soldiers of Truong Son, families with preferential policies, and disadvantaged women have been supported by the association in many forms. 2,278/6,724 orphans in difficult circumstances have been sponsored.
In the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020 - 2025, 30 collectives and 65 individuals with outstanding achievements were honored and commended by the Provincial Women's Union.
These are typical examples of women who have made efforts, been creative, overcome difficulties, and actively contributed to socio-economic development, maintained security and order, built happy families, and spread the good values of Vietnamese women in the new era.
On this occasion, the conference unanimously authorized the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union to select typical examples to attend the 5th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Vietnam Women's Union. At the same time, launching a patriotic emulation movement among women's unions in the whole province for the period 2025 - 2030.
