Phu Tho Province launches the 12th Golden Steering Wheel Award.

In accordance with Plan No. 365/KH-UBATGTQG dated November 20, 2024, of the National Traffic Safety Committee on organizing the 12th "Golden Steering Wheel" award in 2024, the Phu Tho Provincial Traffic Safety Committee has developed a plan to implement the competition among transportation businesses, cooperatives, and commercial drivers in the province.

1. Organize communication activities for the 12th "Golden Steering Wheel" award in 2024.

- The Department of Transport, the Traffic Safety Boards of districts, cities, and towns, and the Phu Tho Automobile Transport Association should strengthen the dissemination and promotion of the Plan and Regulations for the 12th "Golden Steering Wheel" Award in 2024 to transport businesses, cooperatives, and commercial drivers in the province.

- The Department of Information and Communications, the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Phu Tho Newspaper, etc., are actively promoting the 12th "Golden Steering Wheel" award in 2024.

- The Provincial Traffic Safety Committee Office receives communication materials, award branding materials, and the 2024 Golden Steering Wheel badge, and coordinates with media agencies to publicize the award.

2. Criteria for awarding the "Golden Steering Wheel" prize to teams and individuals; prize structure and application requirements.

In accordance with Plan No. 365/KH-UBATGTQG dated November 20, 2024 and the Regulations for the 12th "Golden Steering Wheel" Award in 2024 of the National Traffic Safety Committee (attached).

3. Application submission period and eligibility criteria for the 12th "Golden Steering Wheel" award in 2024

a) Eligible candidates for the "Golden Steering Wheel" award:

- Individuals: Drivers working for businesses engaged in passenger and goods transportation by road,

- Collective: Businesses engaged in passenger and freight transportation by road. b) Application submission period:

- Applications for awards for individuals and groups should be submitted to the Office of the National Traffic Safety Committee before 5 PM on December 6, 2024.

Applications submitted after the above deadline will not be considered.

- Application submission location: Office of the National Traffic Safety Committee, 10th floor, Vietnam Road Administration building, D20 Ton That Thuyet Street, New Urban Area, Cau Giay District, Hanoi . Units are requested to send soft copies (Word, Excel, or PDF files) of all required documents as stipulated in the Regulations to the email address: vlvquocgia@gmail.com.

4. Organize the 12th "Golden Steering Wheel" Award Ceremony in 2024.

a) Time:

- Time: Expected from December 27, 2024 (Friday).

b) Format: The awards ceremony will be held in a theatrical format and broadcast live on television.
