According to Colonel Lam Van Vinh, Deputy Director of Phu Tho Provincial Police, students are not only subjects that need to be protected but also a force capable of receiving and spreading information quickly. Equipping them with legal knowledge and skills to identify and respond to online risks is an urgent task in the context of increasingly sophisticated and complex high-tech crimes.
On the side of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province, Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the Department, said: The Education sector will direct educational institutions to actively deploy the model, integrate propaganda content into learning and extracurricular activities, and closely coordinate with the police force and families to create a safe and civilized school environment.
The highlight of the model "Propaganda on preventing and combating high-tech crimes among students" in Phu Tho is its systematic, specialized and province-wide scale, implemented synchronously between the Provincial Police and the Department of Education and Training.
This model does not stop at single propaganda sessions but also builds an internal communication infrastructure through Zalo groups, grouped by school clusters, with a mechanism for regularly updating content and a mechanism for responding to and handling violations.
The model is deployed through 5 Zalo groups, including 1 content editing group and 4 groups in charge of transmitting information to school clusters.
Schools will receive propaganda content and disseminate it to each class, each student. Propaganda content will be updated regularly, suitable for each level of education and region of the province.
This is an important step demonstrating the consensus of the entire education sector and police force in protecting the young generation from traps in cyberspace.
