Cau Giay Ward celebrates the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day

HNP - In the proud atmosphere of the 95-year journey of formation and development of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on the morning of November 14, Cau Giay ward held a ceremony to celebrate and honor 95 outstanding individuals for the period 2020 - 2025.

Reviewing the tradition of the Fatherland Front, comrade Le Thi Thu Trang, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward affirmed: In the 95-year journey since the establishment of the predecessor organization of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930), the Vietnam Fatherland Front has always held a particularly important position in the revolutionary cause of the nation, a bridge gathering the great solidarity of the entire people, where the Party's will blends with the people's heart.

In the program, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward launched an emulation movement; commended 95 outstanding individuals with achievements in the Front's work in the period of 2020 - 2025. These are prestigious examples in the community, dedicated to the movement, contributing to strengthening the great solidarity bloc and spreading the spirit of responsibility among the people. Along with that, the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward gave gifts to families in difficult circumstances in the area and received donations to the Fund for the Poor of the ward, demonstrating profound humanitarian meaning, while arousing the community's solidarity in caring for social security.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Comrade Pham Ngoc Anh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Cau Giay Ward Party Committee, emphasized that 2025 is an important milestone with many major events of the country and the Capital. At the same time, it is also the year of implementing the 2-level local government model from July 1, 2025. In that context, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cau Giay Ward has made flexible adaptations, constantly innovating the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots and promoting the core role in mobilizing people to participate in patriotic emulation movements.

Notably, in just a short time of operating the new government model, Cau Giay ward successfully organized the first Ward Party Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and the Congress of socio-political organizations for the 2025-2030 term, marking a solid step forward in the process of building a streamlined and effective urban government apparatus.

Orienting activities in the coming time, comrade Pham Ngoc Anh suggested that the ward Fatherland Front system continue to strengthen the propaganda to implement the Resolution of the Party Congress and the Fatherland Front Congress at all levels; effectively organize emulation movements associated with major political and cultural events of the capital; consolidate the national solidarity bloc. Focus on doing a good job of gathering and uniting the entire nation, building strong residential groups and residential areas, happy people; social security is guaranteed, social order and safety is maintained; people behave civilly and affectionately; alleys are bright, clean and beautiful. At the same time, improve the quality of social supervision and criticism and practice democracy at the grassroots level. "The destination is for each citizen, each household to actively participate, discuss and decide on common issues of the community, building Cau Giay ward to be increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized, modern, happy people" - comrade Pham Ngoc Anh emphasized.
