Accordingly, on September 16, 2025, at 3:15 p.m., before the school's break, teacher Tran Thi Thu Ha, homeroom teacher of class 7A14, entered the classroom to remind the students. While she was reminding, the teacher saw TMT, the class monitor, holding a sharp toy, so she asked her to collect it. Hearing that, student LGB stood up and asked her to return the toy. Teacher Ha firmly refused to return it and raised her hand high to keep it out of reach of student B. Student B pulled the teacher's hair to take back the toy. When the incident happened, the class monitor tried to stop student B but failed.
Regarding the incident, Ms. Ha reported it to the Board of Directors. The Principal accompanied her to class, asked student B to apologize to the teacher in front of the class, and asked the two students sitting below student B to write a report on the incident. According to the students, at that time student B was too excited and taller, so they could not stop him.
Student G. B has presented his statement and the family representative, Mr. LVL, student B's father, went to school, apologized to the teacher and asked for permission for their child to be absent from school on September 17, 2025 to go for a mental health check. The student's family took their child to class on the morning of September 18, 2025.
Realizing their wrongdoing, B and her family once again admitted their mistake and apologized to the homeroom teacher and wished to take their child back to their homeroom for 10 days so that the child could have time to rest, think, and change himself. The homeroom teacher agreed to B's family's proposal.
The school board also met with homeroom teachers to encourage them and learn from their experiences in dealing with students who violate discipline, and reminded all students to absolutely not bring dangerous objects to school. When making mistakes, they must learn from their mistakes and have a proper and progressive attitude towards teachers.
In response to the unfortunate incident, the local government sent the Head of the Department of Culture and Society and the Dinh Cong Ward Police to the school to work with relevant parties. The incident at Dai Kim Secondary School is a warning about behavioral culture in schools. Through this, each student needs to clearly understand their responsibilities, and each adult needs to be patient and humane in educating the younger generation.
Chairman of Dinh Cong Ward People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh said: "This is an unfortunate incident that happened in an educational environment - a place that should be a safe, dignified and humane space. The ward government and police force of Dinh Cong ward quickly intervened, closely coordinating with the school to protect the honor of teachers and the seriousness of the educational environment."
