Nghia Lo Ward: Diabetes screening and consultation for people

On August 21, Lao Cai Provincial Center for Disease Control coordinated with Van Chan Regional Medical Center and Nghia An Medical Station to organize a screening and propaganda program on diabetes for people in Nghia Lo ward.

At Nghia An Medical Station, more than 70 people aged 40 - 70 were screened, given professional advice and provided with knowledge on diabetes prevention.

This is a meaningful activity to detect diabetes early - one of the common non-communicable diseases today.
