Tan Lap Ward: Training to popularize and equip knowledge and skills on digital transformation, using digital platforms and digital services

On the evening of August 14, at the People's Committee of Tan Lap Ward, the Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Development and Project 06 of Tan Lap Ward organized a training course on Dissemination and equipping knowledge and skills on digital transformation, using digital platforms and digital services.

Attending the event were leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Tan Lap ward; Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Development and Project 06 (Steering Committee), specialized departments, Public Administration Service Center, Police, Ward Military Command; organizations, unions and representatives of villages, hamlets, and Community Digital Technology Teams in Tan Lap ward.

In his opening speech, Mr. Phan Thanh Dung - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee emphasized: Digital transformation plays an important role for localities with large areas, large populations and rapid urbanization like Tan Lap Ward. He said that this is the "key to breakthrough, shortening geographical distances, helping to serve people faster and more conveniently". The training course not only helps trainees understand the concept and role of the Community Digital Technology Team, but also master essential digital skills and can be applied immediately in life and work; at the same time, he expected that the Ward's Residential Groups will become model points, each trainee is a "digital ambassador" spreading the movement throughout the ward.

The training course aims to popularize and equip knowledge and skills on digital transformation, use of digital platforms and digital services; improve the ability to apply information technology and digital transformation for Community Digital Technology Teams in villages and residential groups to effectively implement the "Digital Literacy for All" Movement.

VNPT Dak Lak representative guides students to access the National Public Service Portal, submit applications online and make cashless payments.

At the training course, delegates were introduced by representatives of VNPT Dak Lak and Viettel Dak Lak, guided on digital transformation skills, skills in exploiting and using online public services, including:

• Basic knowledge of digital transformation, orientation of the role of the Community Digital Technology Team in digital transformation; Knowledge and skills in exploiting and using online public services, online payments on mobile devices and smart devices
• Guide and support people to use 05 basic digital skills (including: Using online public services; online shopping; online payment; protecting yourself in cyberspace and using digital platforms to perform public administrative procedures).
• Practice skills in exploiting and using digital platforms (online public services, Dak Lak digital, AI tools, VneID, eTax mobile, payment...)

The technology rescue team guides delegates to install VNeID and necessary digital applications.

This is the first training course in a series of activities responding to the 100 peak days of the "Digital Education for All" Movement of Tan Lap Ward. According to the plan, from August 14 to September 13, the Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Development and Project 06 of Tan Lap Ward will organize 18 training courses for the entire Community Digital Technology Team, cadres, civil servants, public employees, grassroots security forces, teachers and leaders of agencies and units in the area.
