Vinh Truong Ward handed over 28 houses to residents

On April 28, the Steering Committee for the Demolition of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Vinh Truong Ward (Nha Trang City) organized the handover of 28 houses to near-poor households and households in extremely difficult circumstances in the area. Of these, 21 houses were newly built and 7 were repaired. The total support cost for newly built households is 75 million VND/house (the province supports 60 million VND/house, Nha Trang City supports 15 million VND/house); households repairing are supported 40 million VND/house (the province supports 30 million VND/house and Nha Trang City supports 10 million VND/house).

At the same time, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Vinh Truong Ward has actively mobilized local support resources such as the militia force, the Nha Trang Port Border Guard Station contributing 49 working days, more than 100 million VND, along with the help of the community to help people build new and repair houses. Up to now, all households benefiting from the program have been handed over their houses before the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

On this occasion, the Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Vinh Truong ward presented a gift worth more than 2 million VND to each household.
