M Coffee (Long Thanh Trung Ward, Hoa Thanh Town) has become bustling recently because the space of the shop has been "dressed" in a beautiful new coat. The shop has 4 areas designed into warm Christmas spaces with familiar Western-style images such as fireplaces, Christmas trees, snowmen, colorful gift boxes and white snowflakes. The space becomes more sparkling when the shop adds lighting effects at night.
Ms. Vo Thi Phuong Thao (born in 1995), owner of M Coffee, said that she came up with the idea of decorating for Christmas in mid-October. The decorative accessories were purchased on e-commerce platforms at a cost of nearly 30 million VND. The decoration ideas were all implemented by her, her relatives, and employees.
Since decorating in Christmas style, her coffee shop has been more crowded, 1.5 times more than usual. To serve customers' need to take check-in photos, she also invested in beauty accessories such as hairpins, hair clips, wool hats... for customers to use (completely free), take beautiful photos and have fun while drinking at the shop.
In Tay Ninh city, the Christmas atmosphere is no less exciting. Many coffee shops also invest heavily in decorating their space with Christmas accessories. Mr. Tran Nhat Dong (born in 1996), owner of Dovezi Coffee, Ward IV, Tay Ninh city, shared that this year, he did not focus on Halloween like every year but focused on decorating Christmas early from the end of October.
Christmas is a meaningful holiday to end a fulfilling year, so he wants to bring the Christmas atmosphere early to customers. He invested more than 50 million VND to decorate 2 areas: the main hall and the gate of the shop. His coffee shop is even more prominent with 3 tones of red, white, green, attracting many customers to experience and take pictures - especially in the evening and on weekends.
“Taking photos to check in on holidays and Tet has become a trend for many customers, especially young people. Therefore, decorating not only helps the shop refresh the atmosphere but also attracts customers. Since the shop was decorated in Christmas style, the number of customers has doubled compared to normal days. I think investing in decorating the shop is completely worth it,” said Mr. Dong.
At a coffee shop in Hoa Thanh town, Nguyen Thi Gam (living in Tan Chau town, Tan Chau district) said that when she saw the shop had Christmas decorations early, she invited her friends to come and take photos to keep as memories. The early decoration of shops creates conditions for young people to take photos comfortably, without having to jostle during the holiday. In addition, the early decoration of shops also signals that the year is about to end, making people feel excited to welcome the new year.
Taking advantage of the lunch break, Nguyen Thi Thao Phuong, residing in Ward 1, Tay Ninh City, and her colleagues went to Dovezi Coffee to rest and take photos to check in. Having beautiful Christmas moments together made them happier when coming to the shop.
“The need to take photos to check in and post on social networks has become a trend for many young people and I am no exception. Coffee shops decorated with holiday or classic style decorations are always my favorite places to go to relax, experience and take photos” - Phuong shared.
