Attending the house handover ceremony were: Major General Nguyen Tran Long, Deputy Political Commissar of the 34th Army Corps; Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee; representatives from agencies and units of the 34th Army Corps, the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command; and local Party and government officials.


The house, located in Chanh Hoi village, Ngo May commune, belonging to the family of Ms. To Thi Sua, was constructed by officers and soldiers of the 7th Engineering Brigade (34th Corps) starting from December 3rd. The house has a total construction area of 55 square meters and a total cost of 130 million VND, of which the State contributed 60 million VND, with the remaining amount covered by the family and the 7th Engineering Brigade providing all the labor for construction.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Hong Thach, Deputy Political Commissar of the 7th Engineering Brigade, said that Ms. To Thi Sua is a revolutionary hero, nearly 90 years old, living with a child who is congenitally mute, and facing very difficult circumstances. Therefore, during the construction process, officers and soldiers of the 7th Engineering Brigade strictly followed the principles of speed, economy, and efficiency to ensure that Ms. Sua and her child could have a house and stabilize their lives as soon as possible.


Speaking at the handover ceremony, Major General Nguyen Tran Long, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Political Commissar of the 34th Army Corps, shared his sympathy for the difficulties and hardships faced by the people in the flood-affected areas in general and the family of Ms. To Thi Sua in particular; and affirmed that under any conditions or circumstances, the officers and soldiers of the 34th Army Corps will always stand side by side and support the people in overcoming all difficulties.
Implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign," a rapid effort to rebuild and repair houses for the people after the floods, the Command of the 34th Army Corps established a Steering Committee and mobilized more than 900 officers and soldiers along with equipment to help the people of Gia Lai and Dak Lak provinces rebuild and repair their homes.



With the motto "Rapid march - Rapid construction - Rapid completion," the 34th Army Corps has commenced the construction of 80 new houses. Besides the house belonging to Mrs. Tô Thị Sửa's family, the other houses are under construction according to schedule and are expected to be completed ahead of schedule. January 20, 2026, so that people can celebrate the Lunar New Year in 2026 in their new homes.
On this occasion, the 34th Army Corps Command and local authorities presented many gifts to the family of Ms. To Thi Sua; the 34th Army Corps Command also awarded certificates of commendation to the 7th Engineering Brigade and individuals of the unit.
