The province currently has 1,079 educational and training institutions with 506,499 students and trainees. Of these, 682 schools meet the standards, accounting for 64.8%. The province has 30,510 officials including administrators, teachers, and staff, and 17,231 classrooms. Investment in teaching equipment and materials has been prioritized, with the rate of meeting minimum requirements reaching 44.5%.
The entire education sector is promoting innovation in teaching methods and organizational forms, focusing on fostering active participation, initiative, creativity, and the application of knowledge and skills by learners. This is being implemented flexibly and effectively by schools at all levels. The application of information technology in teaching is being promoted. Ensuring traffic safety, school security and order; environmental hygiene, food safety; preventing school violence; and educating students on ethics, lifestyle, life skills, law, traditions, and local cultural values continue to be implemented and maintained.
During the meeting, delegates exchanged and discussed difficulties, obstacles, and proposed key tasks for the education and training sector in the coming period. In addition, they emphasized the need to focus on several key tasks such as: addressing the teacher shortage; mechanisms and policies for teachers; decentralizing the state management of education to local governments at two levels; reorganizing the network and teaching equipment at educational institutions; providing rice and healthcare for students; and mobilizing social resources in schools.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Tran Manh Loi, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, emphasized: In the context of the province's merger and the implementation of a two-tiered local government, the Department of Education and Training has quickly stabilized its organization and promptly adapted to and implemented its tasks.
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department suggested that the sector focus on resolving current shortcomings such as mechanisms for attracting high-quality teachers, recruiting local teachers, the shortage of teachers; policies and regulations for teachers and students; paying attention to non-public education; and continuing to promote the socialization of investment in education development… He also expressed confidence that the tasks for 2025, the tasks for the 2025-2026 school year, and other key tasks of the sector will always ensure and achieve the goals and targets set by the sector.
