Hong Bang District deploys organizational work to serve the establishment of new wards.

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of June 26, Hong Bang District Party Committee held the 29th Party Executive Committee Conference to review and evaluate the results of the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of 2025; and set out directions and tasks for the coming time. Comrade Dang Ba Cuong, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Hong Bang District Party Committee chaired the Conference.

In the first 6 months of 2025, Hong Bang District Party Committee has implemented many important tasks such as accelerating the implementation of targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 23rd District Party Congress; leading the implementation and organization of the completion of the grassroots Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, ensuring quality and progress, meeting the requirements of the Central and City Party Committee; arranging, merging, and putting ward administrative units into operation from January 1, 2025; developing projects and plans to implement the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus in March 2025; carefully preparing the Project, plans, and personnel of the political system according to the 2-level government model to establish Hong Bang and Hong An wards; implementing the policy of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on perfecting key cadres of the District Party Committee; Direct the work of ensuring security and order when the District Police's activities end in accordance with the direction of the Central and City Party Committees; prepare and work with inspection and supervision delegations of the Central and City Party Committees, and Committees of the City Party Committee; along with that, there are a number of new and unexpected tasks as required by the Central and City.

In particular, in the leadership and direction of implementing socio -economic tasks, there has been continued development, agricultural production activities are according to plan. Total state budget revenue is estimated to increase monthly, of which: Total state budget revenue reached 51% of the plan, equal to 78% over the same period, of which non-state tax collection reached 65% of the plan, up 24% over the same period. Total retail turnover is estimated at 30,603.5 billion VND, equal to 43.61% of the plan, up 15.67% over the same period. Revenue from food and accommodation services is estimated at 4,041.8 billion VND, equal to 42.9% of the plan, up 21.14% over the same period. Industrial production value in the district management area is estimated at 140.9 billion VND, equal to 44.63% of the plan, up 73.1% over the same period. It is estimated that 600 new business registration certificates will be issued in the first 6 months, an increase of 91% over the same period. The district focuses on implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TU, dated January 10, 2025 of the Politburo, Conclusion No. 123-KL/TW, dated January 24, 2025 of the Party Central Committee. Urban management and beautification work is focused on and directed, especially during holidays and Tet. The work of caring for policy families is carried out fully and thoughtfully. Administrative reform work associated with digital transformation and network security is focused on and implemented effectively. The political security situation and social order and safety continue to be maintained, creating trust among the people.

In the coming time, Hong Bang District Party Committee will focus on reviewing and synthesizing the tasks being implemented until the end of 2025 to serve the task of handing over tasks to the new wards. The District will issue a decision to end the activities of the current Party Committees of the wards, dissolve the Party organizations that are no longer suitable, transfer the Party organizations and Party members to the new Commune-level Party Committees, and mobilize cadres and civil servants of the district Party and mass organizations to work at the Party, government and Fatherland Front agencies of the two new wards.

Regarding the Party organization in the two new wards, the Ward Party Committee will hold the first Conference to approve working regulations, establish subordinate Party organizations, specialized advisory and support agencies, political centers (if any) and give opinions on the establishment of specialized departments, public service units under the People's Committee and Committees of the Ward People's Council.

The Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee will also be held to appoint the Party Committee, the Party Committee Inspection Committee (if any), appoint leaders of specialized agencies, introduce candidates for positions in the People's Council and the People's Committee of the new ward, establish the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and allocate temporary staff. All of the above contents are expected to be completed before July 1, 2025.
