Promoting Dong Nai's image with artificial intelligence

(DN) - This summer, many wards and communes in Dong Nai province have organized diverse experiential classes, bringing children exciting and meaningful summer days. Notably, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to promote the image of Dong Nai has become an attractive highlight, attracting the attention of children.

The image of Dong Nai province is creatively presented.

Immediately after Dong Nai announced the resolution to establish a new province after merging Binh Phuoc province (old) and Dong Nai province (old), according to the decision of the National Assembly, netizens quickly "caught the trend", turning a seemingly dry administrative topic into a lively and colorful one.

On social networks, the image of Dong Nai province is creatively expressed through two typical specialties - Tan Trieu grapefruit and Binh Phuoc cashew nuts - personified as two cute children, smiling and shaking hands in affection.

From that idea, Sol Media Company Limited - an AI technology and communication unit, headquartered in Phu Tan Quarter, Binh Phuoc Ward, has used this image as the main topic in the artificial intelligence application skills training class for children. The class is part of a series of summer experience activities, where children are instructed to use AI technology to build communication products to promote their hometown.

Every week, the class organizes many activities, including small competitions such as composing and designing content to promote the image of the new Dong Nai province using AI technology. The topics often revolve around the outstanding specialties of the two merged localities - Tan Trieu grapefruit and Binh Phuoc cashew nuts, so that students can express their creativity, love for their homeland, and at the same time get acquainted with modern technology.

Nguyen Phuong Linh, a 9th grader at Tan Xuan Secondary School (Binh Phuoc Ward), shared: “I wrote a fairy tale about grapefruit. Through it, I want to introduce Tan Trieu grapefruit - a specialty of my hometown - to friends at home and abroad. Thanks to using AI to create an animated film, the story becomes more vivid, helping viewers understand more about this delicious fruit, associated with the diligence and creativity of Dong Nai people.”

Meanwhile, Cu Trong Hung, a 7th grader at Tan Binh Secondary School (Binh Phuoc Ward), chose cashew nuts as his subject. He created a story about his journey to explore the largest cashew nut growing area in the country in Dong Nai - a place that is emerging as the "cashew capital" with impressive export turnover and many OCOP-certified products. "After the merger, my hometown became a large land, both strong in industry and rich in specialty fruits. Many cashew farms have now become attractive eco- tourism destinations. I hope that through my work, I will contribute to promoting my hometown and calling on tourists to come to Dong Nai" - Trong Hung shared.

Forming creative thinking and digital communication skills

In the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution spreading strongly, AI is gradually becoming an indispensable tool in many fields, especially communication and education. Applying artificial intelligence in communication and promoting local images is an inevitable trend in the integration period.

Mr. Huynh Do Minh Hoang, Director of Sol Media Company Limited, said: “I find it very interesting that young people in Dong Nai can quickly catch up with technology trends, creating vivid stories about their homeland. I hope that the provincial education sector will continue to promote the application of science and technology, especially AI, in teaching in schools.”

Bringing AI into the education program, especially through summer experiential classes, not only helps students access modern technology but also develops creative thinking, digital communication skills and the ability to master technology - important factors in the future. This is also a practical step to realize the Government's Project 06 on digital transformation in the education and training sector.
