Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, General Representative of Vietnam at EXPO 2025 shared: "We hope that through the Vietnam Exhibition House and the above events, visitors will not only learn more about a beautiful, rich-in-identity Vietnam that is developing strongly in harmony with the world , but also be able to seek and successfully receive potential investment, business and cooperation opportunities introduced by representatives of Vietnamese localities and enterprises at EXPO 2025."
In addition, to enhance communication and promotion effectiveness, the Department of International Cooperation will coordinate with TikTok to deploy communication campaigns on the platform for events organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
At the same time, the two sides will jointly build digital capacity for units and organizations under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism through training sessions on digital transformation, digital content creation, exploiting the TikTok platform, and utilizing livestreaming to promote images and increase income effectively and creatively. TikTok will also support connecting with influential content creators to spread the values of culture, sports , and tourism in Vietnam, especially activities and events organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa also expressed her belief that the Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of International Cooperation and TikTok will be a solid foundation for the Department of International Cooperation and TikTok to continue to cooperate to tell the story of Vietnam widely, not only at the World Exhibition EXPO 2025 but also on the global cultural, sports and tourism map.
The Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of International Cooperation and the TikTok platform is an important milestone, opening a new chapter in cooperation between the two sides, maximizing the potential of the digital platform in promoting, introducing and further spreading the cultural values, natural beauty and people of Vietnam. Contributing to promoting the domestic tourism industry towards the goal of double-digit GDP growth, contributing to rapid and sustainable development in the era of national development.
One of the highlights of the Memorandum of Understanding is the cooperation of the TikTok platform with the Department of International Cooperation in Vietnam's presence and activities at World EXPOs - first of all, EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan taking place from April 13 to October 13, 2025.
Through the support and coordination of TikTok such as building a program with the hashtag #vnworldexpo, inviting Vietnamese and international content creators to visit and produce content about the Vietnam Exhibition House..., images and videos about the Vietnam Exhibition House will be vividly and creatively conveyed and accessible to a wide audience at home and abroad, contributing to increasing the recognition of Vietnam at one of the largest global events, enhancing the understanding of domestic people about the World Exhibition and successfully promoting the image of Vietnam to the world.
Since its opening, the Vietnam Exhibition House has always been considered one of the most popular exhibitions for Japanese visitors at EXPO 2025.
