Quang Binh supports 8 billion VND to help people in the northern provinces overcome damage caused by storms and floods.

On the afternoon of September 12, Chairwoman of the Quang Binh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Head of the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee Pham Thi Han signed a decision to allocate 8 billion VND from the Quang Binh Provincial Relief Fund to support people in the northern provinces to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.

Accordingly, Quang Binh province transferred 2.5 billion VND to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee for the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to allocate general support; and transferred 5.5 billion VND to directly support the northern provinces.

Specifically, 8 provinces: Lang Son, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen and Hoa Binh, each province 500 million VND; 5 provinces: Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Bac Kan and Tuyen Quang, each province 300 million VND.

Ms. Pham Thi Han, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Binh province, said that in the context of a locality with many difficulties and often devastated by natural disasters, since launching and calling for support for people in the northern provinces affected by natural disasters, as of 5:00 p.m. on September 12, 357 agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists have supported and registered to support through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Provincial Relief Committee with a total amount of 8,075 billion VND.
