According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee on projects and works that are behind schedule, ineffective, wasteful, for projects and works using state budget capital (public investment), Quang Nam currently has 59 projects that are not used, used ineffectively or ineffectively. This list includes headquarters and schools belonging to public assets.
There are also 55 public investment projects in the province that are behind schedule. For this group of projects, the Provincial People's Committee proposed to review the investment objectives, investment efficiency of invested items, determine technical stopping points, request approval to end the project, and complete the project settlement on time as prescribed.
In case the project investment efficiency has not been promoted, review urgent items, extend the project implementation time and supplement the capital plan to continue investing in the remaining items.
The province also has 12 projects that are suspended and 1 project that has approved the final settlement but has not yet recovered the capital paid in excess of the final settlement. Many projects and works using non-budgetary capital (private investment) are also behind schedule.
Specifically, for investment projects to build houses, residential areas, urban areas outside economic zones, and unused industrial parks, there are 88 projects that are more than 24 months behind schedule compared to the schedule in the initial investment policy approval document; of which 5 projects are more than 10 years behind schedule, 21 projects are 5-10 years behind schedule, and 62 projects are 24 months to 5 years behind schedule.
The Provincial People's Committee has requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to lead the Provincial People's Committee to urgently complete and put these projects into use, and implement them according to plan.
For production, business projects and other projects outside economic zones and industrial zones (private investment projects), there are 24 projects that are more than 24 months behind schedule compared to the schedule in the initial investment policy approval document; of which 5 projects are more than 10 years behind schedule, 15 projects are 5-10 years behind schedule, and 4 projects are 24 months to 5 years behind schedule. 13/24 projects in this group have been and are undergoing land inspection.
