Quang Nam determined to complete repair and construction of new suspension bridge before September 2

Accordingly, the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities are required to urgently organize inspections and reviews of all suspension bridges in the area, assess the current situation, promptly repair any damage, strengthen solutions to ensure safe operation (installation of signs, warning signs, etc.) to serve the people's safe and convenient traffic, and complete before May 30, 2025. Localities are responsible before the law and the Provincial People's Committee if any incidents occur.

Localities develop plans to build new solid bridges at locations where suspension bridges are no longer repairable or in areas with high traffic demand.

At the same time, prioritize the allocation of capital to maintain, repair, and build new suspension bridges to serve the people under management; coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the district level, socio -political organizations to mobilize social resources of people, businesses, etc. to participate in supporting the repair and construction of new suspension bridges to serve the people, striving to complete before September 2, 2025.

The Department of Construction is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and guiding localities and relevant units in fully implementing regulations on management, operation, maintenance, repair, new construction, and maintenance of bridge works in the province to ensure absolute safety during exploitation and use, not allowing works to be broken, damaged, or lose their ability to be exploited due to failure to promptly implement the above measures; promptly synthesizing the situation, advising the Provincial People's Committee to consider and direct matters beyond its authority.

The Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations shall strengthen advocacy and mobilize resources to support the repair and construction of new suspension bridges in the area; send forces to support localities in the process of repairing and building new suspension bridges to serve people's safe and convenient travel.
