Quang Nam reviews international agreements and international cooperation documents

(QNO) - On May 5, the Provincial People's Committee sent an official dispatch to departments, branches, units, and localities regarding the review of the signing and implementation of international agreements and international cooperation documents in the province.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requires that before May 12, 2025, departments, branches, associations, unions, universities, colleges and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities must review and count the number and content of international agreements and international cooperation documents signed with foreign agencies, international organizations and localities.

From there, report on the implementation of international agreements, international cooperation documents as well as difficulties and obstacles in the process of coordination with international agencies, organizations and foreign localities to implement signed documents.

At the same time, based on the current actual situation of the agencies, units and localities involved in the merger and arrangement work, propose to the Provincial People's Committee to amend, supplement, transfer, terminate signed international agreements and international cooperation documents or propose to sign new international agreements and international cooperation documents to replace them.

This move aims to review, compile statistics, and systematize signed international agreements and international cooperation documents within the assigned functions and tasks in the province, thereby ensuring continued implementation after the merger, arrangement, and streamlining of the apparatus, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on International Agreements 2020 and related regulations and guidelines on signing cooperation documents with foreign partners.
