Quang Nam strengthens cooperation and mobilizes foreign non-governmental aid

The conference was co-chaired by Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations Nguyen Ngoc Hung.

The conference was attended by representatives of Central Committees, Ministries, and 140 foreign non- governmental organizations. The parties discussed and achieved many results. Especially, the goal was to continue to accompany and promote cooperation between Quang Nam province, foreign non-governmental organizations and partners...

According to statistics, in the period of 2021 - 2024, by enlisting the support of central units such as the Department of Foreign Affairs - Ministry of Foreign Affairs , the Committee for Foreign Non-Governmental Organizations, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations - directly the People's Aid Coordination Committee - PACCOM..., Quang Nam received aid worth a total of more than 28.6 million USD, equivalent to 687 billion VND.

The above funding comes from 281 programs, projects and non-projects..., with 83 foreign non-governmental organizations, humanitarian and charitable organizations, and foreign individuals implementing aid and sponsorship activities.

Since the beginning of 2025, Quang Nam has received much attention and support from foreign non-governmental organizations and partners, with 15 projects from 12 organizations (including WWF, WVI, COV, Swim Vietnam, GIBTK, Share Sarangbat, CHIA, HAB, CEF, HFHI, LSF, Nouvell Plannnete), with a total committed funding of nearly 6.5 million USD, equivalent to more than 156 billion VND.

Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan said that Quang Nam has been developing plans since 2019, and has mobilized more than 1,000 billion VND in funding, with many non-governmental organizations coming to discuss aid cooperation and project implementation...

Realizing the goal of continuing to strengthen cooperation and mobilize foreign non-governmental aid in the coming time, 5 organizations have signed 6 cooperation agreements between sectors and localities of the province with partners...

Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee also signed cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding with 5 organizations, committing to sponsor 7 projects with a budget of more than 4.58 million USD, equivalent to more than 110 billion VND...
