Quang Nam organizes to honor outstanding voluntary blood donors in 2025

(QNO) - The Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Quang Nam province has just issued a Plan to organize a program to honor outstanding individuals and families in the voluntary blood donation movement in 2025.

The event aims to recognize and commend outstanding contributions, while spreading the spirit of compassion and humanity of the blood donation movement to save lives.

According to the plan, the program will take place on May 29 in Tam Ky City. The main activities include: The delegation of outstanding voluntary blood donors offering incense and reporting their achievements at the Monument of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers (Tam Phu Commune) and the honoring ceremony held at the hall of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

The event is expected to welcome more than 80 delegates, who are individuals and families who have donated blood 20 times or more. The delegates will receive Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society , Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee, along with souvenirs and symbols.

Localities and units are also encouraged to organize honoring events according to local regulations and promote communication in response to International Blood Donor Day (June 14).

The Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation assigned the Provincial Red Cross Society to preside over the organization and coordinate with relevant units to ensure the program takes place solemnly, effectively and economically.
