At the Quang Ninh bridge, more than 30,000 people participated, including nearly 7,000 officers, soldiers of the armed forces, workers, civil servants and people at October 30 Square.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), National Day September 2 (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and Traditional Day of the People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).
The program “Moving Forward with Vietnam” is a large-scale and meaningful community activity organized for the first time at a special moment when the whole country is entering a new stage of development. Especially the flag-raising and marching activities in 34 provinces, cities and 3,321 communes, wards and special zones nationwide.
This activity not only demonstrates patriotism and national pride, contributing to reducing carbon emissions towards the country's Net Zero goal, but is also a journey of millions of hearts beating in unison, bringing together many generations and all classes of people from urban to rural, mountainous, remote and isolated areas.
Each locality contributes its strength and joins hands for a great goal: for a united, strong Vietnam, ready to step into a new era - the era of national aspirations, of the spirit of progress for a powerful future.
Mr. Le Viet Ha in Ha Long ward shared, participating in the program "Moving Forward with Vietnam", I and everyone attending were very happy and moved to salute the flag and sing the National Anthem and join in the joyful and excited atmosphere towards the anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 with the people of the whole country.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy in Ha Lam ward emotionally said, participating in this event I feel very proud, each step of the people continues the source of the heroic history of the nation; We feel more clearly the value of independence, freedom and love our homeland and country more and see clearly our responsibility in the work of building an increasingly rich and beautiful Fatherland.
With the main message "1 billion steps into the new era", the program is expected to mobilize the collective strength of millions of people across the country to join in walking, marking 1 billion steps for the health, solidarity and aspiration of a nation that is strongly transforming in the new era.
Through the participation of 34 provinces and cities, the program has become a bridge connecting the central to local levels, from urban to rural areas. Each locality contributes its strength to create a united, united Vietnam, moving forward into the future, responding to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the movement "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland".
