Quang Tri: 11 people were randomly selected to verify assets and income in 2025

On the afternoon of October 16, the Quang Tri Provincial Inspectorate announced that it had just held a conference to draw lots to select people to have their assets and income verified in 2025. Four units were selected, including: Economic Zone Management Board, Newspaper and Radio and Television, Medical College, and Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited.

Based on the list of people subject to annual asset and income declaration sent by agencies and units (Document No. 811/KKT-VP dated September 18, 2025 of the Economic Zone Management Board; Document No. 226-CV/BPTTH dated September 22, 2025 of Newspapers and Radio, Television; Document No. 1184/CĐYT-QTHC dated September 17, 2025 of Quang Binh Medical College; Document No. 310/KTCTTL dated September 17, 2025 of Quang Binh Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited), Quang Tri Provincial Inspectorate has reviewed and compared the provisions of the 2018 Law on Anti-Corruption; Decree No. 130/2020/ND-CP dated October 30, 2020 of the Government on controlling assets and income of people holding positions and powers in agencies, organizations and units to include in the list of 10% randomly selected to conduct asset and income verification in 2025 in accordance with regulations.

Quang Tri Provincial Inspectorate has just held a conference to draw lots to select people to have their assets and income verified in 2025.

Accordingly, the Provincial Inspectorate does not include the following people in the list for verification: People under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; people who retired in 2024 and 2025; people who have ceased to hold leadership and management positions and are not currently required to make annual declarations; people newly appointed to leadership and management positions and making their first declaration (May 2024); people who are not required to declare according to the provisions of Article 10, Appendix III, Decree 130/2020/ND-CP; civil servants of public service units who do not hold leadership and management positions.

Random draw to select people to have their assets and income verified in 2025 in Quang Tri

4 units were selected by drawing lots to have their assets and income verified in 2025, including: Economic Zone Management Board, Newspaper and Radio and Television, Medical College, and Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited.

Specifically, the Economic Zone Management Board has 46 people subject to asset declaration; Newspapers and Radio and Television have 27 people; Medical College has 11 people; Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited has 19 people. The conference will draw lots at a rate of 10% respectively, selecting 11 individuals from 4 units to verify assets and income in 2025.

Quang Tri Provincial Inspectorate issued a notice of the list of people whose assets and incomes were verified in 2025.

After approving the minutes announcing the results of the draw including the list of 11 officials whose assets and incomes in 2025 will be verified, within 15 days, the Quang Tri Provincial Inspectorate will announce the decision to verify assets and incomes for the selected units and 11 individuals.

Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam, Deputy Chief Inspector of Quang Tri province. Informed the purpose and significance of the work of verifying the declaration of assets and income. Identifying this as a regular work, to check and clarify the content of the declaration; review, evaluate and conclude on the honesty, completeness and clarity of the declaration and the honesty in explaining the origin of assets and additional income of the person with the obligation to declare in order to prevent corruption.

Mr. Nam requested that leaders of units direct their units' selected verifiers to proactively provide information related to the verification content when requested by the Asset and Income Verification Team and be responsible for the accuracy of the information provided; fully and promptly implement the requirements of the Asset and Income Verification Team.
